The calendar says Spring, but...

this is what we're still looking at. I took these pictures this morning. We have gotten so dumped on this winter that it's going to take a long time to melt it all. As you can see, the temperature is only about 35, which doesn't help much. At least it's sunny today. We're supposed to be moving up into the 40s for at least the next week. If it melts too fast, there will be lots of flooding, so I guess it's good that it's happening so gradually. We are finally at the point where the roads are dry now. It seems like there was ice and snow on them the whole winter long. We have seen a couple of birds perch on the porch railing this week, so maybe Spring will come after all.
